Mufasa: The Lion King isn’t just a hit at the box office – the music from the movie is also going viral on social media.
“I Always Wanted a Brother” is at the top of the Viral Top 50 on Spotify, as well as the Youtube Music charts.
The song centers around younger Taka (voiced by Theo Somolu) and younger Mufasa (voiced by Braelyn Rankins), who was adopted into a new pride, running off and playing together, revealing that they always wanted to have a brother.
“I always wanted a brother / Just like you,” they declare.
