The national capital will host the 2025 Delhi World Book Fair starting on February 1, 2025 with the tickets booking details now out
Visitors from all over the world will be welcomed to the World Book Fair 2025 event, where writers and academics will facilitate conversations. Publishers from all over the world will have thousands of books on exhibit during the event.

From February 1 to February 9, 2025, the book fair known as the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 will be held. This year’s event will take place at the Bharat Madapam. The daily fair will be open to visitors from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
The World Book Fair 2025 will feature “Republic@75” this year to commemorate India’s 75 years as a republic.
The theme for this year is a strong India and its advancements in national development, with the goal of realizing the Viksit Bharat vision by 1947.
The theme will be the investigation of India’s republican system.
“Hum Bharat Ke log” (meaning “We the peole of India”) is the phrase, and it embodies the dream of millions of Indians.
World Book Fair 2025 venue, tickets and organisers
Pragati Maidan in New Delhi will host the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 from February 1 to 9. Publishers, authors, and readers from around the world will be present at the fair. The India Trade Promotion Organization and National Book Trust, India will collaborate to organize the event.
In order to draw readers and offer a literary experience, thousands of books will be available. To encourage young readers, there will be a children’s tent at the event with storytelling sessions and workshops.
For tickets, tourists can take the blue line directly to Supreme Court, the main metro station (Pragati Maidan) where they can buy offline tickets from. You can also buy tickets offline from the Bharat Mandapam, where the fair is being held and you can buy tickets directly at the entrance during the event days. The tickets prices haven’t been revealed yet.

1. Visit nbtindia.gov.in, the official website.
2. Select the ticket option and click the link for the NDWBF 2025 admission ticket.
3. Decide the date you would want to attend the event.
4. Choose the quantity of tickets you wish to buy.
5. Select the payment option and complete the transaction.
6. Download the ticket with the QR code on it.
World Book Fair 2025 attractions
International Participation: By exchanging cultures and engaging in conversations about literary trends around the world, international authors and exhibitors will take centre stage.
Yuva Corner: Young authors chosen through a nationwide mentoring program will be honoured at the YUVA area, which will also introduce guests to up-and-coming authors in Indian literature.
Cultural events: A variety of cultural events will be held to honour India’s literary legacy and encourage multilingualism.

Authors’ Corner (Lekhak manch): Book launches, panel discussions, and conversations will provide a forum for both established and up-and-coming writers.
